We go out and explore and see what the community has to offer the world around us and explore different cultures & celebritations such as birthdays & Christmas the world around us such as farms learning about the animals and different sounds they make.

 

I promote & encourage positive behaviour in my setting such as mutual respect, kindness kind hands, kind words, good sharing and much more.

 

I do daliy diary books for each child to keep parents up to date through out the day of all the different activities & outings we do. Nappy changing, meals what your child has eaten, what they have done throughout the day & much more.

Also I stay in contact with parents through WhatsApp sending pictures & updates throughout the day meeting each and every child's needs. I also have tracking / observation sheets, medical forms, allergy forms ( if a child has any allergies ) & 2 year progress checks I follow the EYFS foundation stage framework handbook in the 7 areas of learning:

I provide a warm, nurturing and home-from-home environment where children feel safe, secure and valued.

 

My curriculum is designed to support children’s communication, confidence and independence through meaningful play, strong relationships and real-life experiences. I place a strong focus on helping children develop their language skills, as I know this is the foundation for all future learning.

 

Children benefit from a balance of child-led and adult-supported activities, both indoors and outdoors. I carefully plan experiences based on each child’s interests and stage of development, ensuring all children make good progress from their individual starting points.

 

Through daily routines, play and exploration, children develop key skills that prepare them for their next stage of learning, including school.

My curriculum focuses on supporting children to become confident, independent learners.

 

I prioritise:

• Communication and language development through conversations, stories and singing

• Personal, social and emotional development by building strong relationships and supporting children to understand their feelings

• Physical development through outdoor play, local outings and active experiences

 

Children learn through real-life experiences such as visits to parks, farms and the local community. These opportunities help children make sense of the world around them while developing their curiosity and confidence.

 

I adapt my teaching to meet each child’s individual needs, ensuring all children are supported and challenged appropriately.

I get to know each child well and assess their starting points when they begin. I use observations and my knowledge of child development to plan next steps that support their learning.

 

Over time, children make good progress as I build on what they already know and can do. I regularly review their development and adapt my approach to ensure they continue to move forward in their learning.

 

I work closely with parents to share progress and support children’s development both at home and in my setting.

I believe strong partnerships with parents are essential for children’s development.

 

I provide regular updates through daily communication and shared information about children’s learning and experiences. This ensures parents are fully involved in their child’s development.

 

By working together, we support children to feel secure, confident and ready to learn.

 

I live very close by to bus routes, train station 5 minute walk away from me and also very close by to lovely parks, playgroups and high elms nature walk, coolings nature trail and much more.
